ISKCON Temple intended and built by Achyut Kanvinde who in 1993 decided to accept a pro-bono commission to build this temple complex for the followers of Srila Prabhupada, is one of the main temple complexes in India. It comprises many rooms for priests and for repair renders. It has many halls that are used for its management purposes. It is alienated into four broad sections. ISKCON Temple is located at Hari Krishna Hill, in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi. It was built as recently as 1998 and is one of the most lavish and grand temples of the city. A fine example of architecture, it sports Shikharas, rising to a height of 90-ft above ground level. A part of the Iskon TempleHare Krishna Movement started by Acharya Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the devotees and followers of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna cult built this temple in 1998 to distribute the message of the Bhagwad Gita. Lord Krishna preached religion and way to Godhood 3000 years ago. Today, the global Society for Krishna awareness is propagating the blessings to every weary heart, irrespective of caste, creed and sect. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was built by the Hare-Rama Hare-Krishna cult followers in 1998.Iskcon temple dedicated to the Lord Krishna is built on a hilly place by the Hare-Rama Hare- Krishna cult followers. Currently the main attraction of the temple is the Robort, who enact and preach the Gita.
