Taking the spirit of indigenous habit in the Swadesi movement, Abdul Kalam has reinstated the true virtue of being an Indian. Launching india`s first indigenous satellite, Dr Kalam set a principle in the world.

Creating a space for India in the Space, with the Rohini satellite Abdul Kalam represents the scientific possibilities that have to be explored within India. 
 
Going to nuclear weapons he also had his stint in advising the Defence in India. With an able team of capable scientists, Dr Kalam is aiming all the possibilities by building capacity for self reliance in the field of aeronautics for India. He also gave his knowledge by teaching as a Professor at Anna University in Chennai. Awarded with many glorious citations Dr Abdul Kalam has over 30 recognitions from various Universities. 
 
Awarded with Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibushan in the eighties and the Bharat Ratna in 1997, Dr Kalam was elected President of India in 2002.
